My name is Rosana Chavez and I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember...

 

What began as a secret obsession at the age of 5— copying classical works out of my grandfather's encyclopedia— became my lifelong connection to that creative inner world of which we often lose sight as we grow up. In a way, art became a lifeline. Which is probably why my daughter says I always paint things so full of life.

I have always pivoted towards all art workshops available to me, throughout my school years, during
my English and Communications BA at McGill University in Montreal, as well as in my later education degree focused on Art and English.​​

Most recently from 2024-25, I have honed my fine art practice through the Milan Art Institute.
